Dominican by birth,AMAMIA came to Haiti in 1935.Very little is known of his early life

Having made Haiti his second country,he was one of the first active members of the center d’art of Port-au-prince founded by Peters in 1944.From that date until his death in 1970,he participated in several collective exhibitions.

Hehas left a large collection of canevases depicting the simplicity and the beauty of aitian scenery.His works are found today in the private collection of his Haitian friends and the main art galleries of the country.
